WordPress Real Estate Specific Content
I preach “Target Specific Content” to agents all day long. It’s important. Give your visitors an instant gratification when they first land on your website with multiple one-click links, predefined searches. This benefits them with quick, easy to find content while giving you targeted landing pages indexed in the search engines.
Don’t just target a main category, dig deep! Why settle for one or two pages when you can have 10,50,100′s. For example, if you have a category “Gated Communities” you could create a page that lists the gated communities by name with short descriptions that link to the main detail page for each community (Keep this at 300-500 words). These pages then can house the latest MLS listings with thumbnails that link to full detail pages of each property Taking it a step further, you can add additional links to target prices, amenities, etc.
This may seem boring to the agent, however it will be new to a potential client who is searching for information about this community while giving you index quality content for your website.
Once your target areas are built out, use some strategic SEO to get each page indexed on its own merit. One thing we do that is popular is to set up the main areas (Gated Communities, for example) as blog pages so the agent can post about specific properties related to the main category. This keeps the content fresh and pings the search engines and directories.
